Stephen Trudeau

"The Courage to Thrive!" Going beyond mere survival, we need to have the courage to take action that will allow us to thrive, despite the circumstances. 

Dr. Trudeau’s adventures in the media have been many and varied. He published his book, The Special Needs of Parenting, in 2009 based on his own experiences as the father of a special needs child and that of being a clinical psychologist.  He co-hosts on the Kim Pagano Show on KKZZ in Ventura with Motivational Mondays.  He has appeared on numerous television programs such as 1000 Ways to Die, and Operation Repo as a featured expert and is often called upon to give his opinion on local news stations on current events.


Dr. Trudeau completed his internship at Stirling Behavioral Health Institute in Westlake Village, CA. Also becoming first School Based Mental Health Services Coordinator and then being promoted to Program Director for the clinic. He later opened his own private practice in Westlake Village.

Dr. Trudeau is very active in the local communities that he serves volunteering his time with Teen Court for the City of Calabasas, advising the Juvenile Team for the Los Angeles County Sheriffs at Lost Hills Station, consulting with the Agoura Hills Teen Advisory Committee, panelist for the Is Your Teen Road Ready? Program. And is currently on the board of directors for the special needs charity, Pause4Kids.
