Lynne West has seen the organization grow over her 26 year tenure and states, “I can’t picture a more worthwhile organization to dedicate my career too”. As a Big Sister to a former foster youth, she has witnessed first- hand the difference a mentor can make in the life of a child and by so doing the changes it has brought to her own life. She currently serves on the National Leadership Council of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the Ventura County Children’s Oversight Committee, is a past president of the California State Association of Big Brothers Big Sisters, a certified trainer for other mentoring organizations and serves on numerous committees in Ventura County. Lynne is also the Service Chair for the Soroptimist International of Camarillo.
